An internationally exhibited and award-winning photojournalist,
James Edward Bates will work hard for you, just as he does for
all journalistic events. Works have been featured in New York Times,
Los Angeles Times, National Geographic, Newsweek, U.S. News & World
Report, Marie Claire (U.K., Italy, Hong Kong and France), People,
American Photo and Mississippi Magazine; as well as a number of
other national and international publications.
As a documentary photographer, moments are captured as they happen.
Notice of happenings or coming surprises are welcome; but you can
count on the moments of your day being captured thoroughly. You
will invest a lot of time preparing for your wedding, so when that
special day comes, relax and have fun!
We enjoy portrait requests, but we encourage you to remember that
the real life moments that will naturally occur during your wedding
day will provide the best opportunities for stunning images.
James Edward Bates Weddings specializes in providing professional
photography and video services that will capture the essence of
your special day. We use professional digital cameras to document
events.
Besides having ownership of your digital negatives of your still
photography, the bride and groom will receive 300 (or more) color
4x6 photographs of your ceremony and a professional quality proof
book. These photographs are yours to keep and will not have "PROOF" stamped
on them. Black-and-white prints and a DVD with a digital slideshow
set to music are also available to order. As an added convenience,
you will be able to direct family members and friends to order
prints from your ceremony through an online printing service and
web gallery of your images.
James Edward Bates Weddings is committed to being involved in
the recovery of the Gulf Coast from the destruction left in the
wake of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. We thank you in advance for
thinking of our fellow vendors when considering the services you
will book for your wedding day. If you need a recommendation for
quality services, just ask. We'll be happy to introduce you to
professionals who will give you the very best service available.
Thank you for taking the time to view our work. We look forward
to working with you to provide the best photojournalism coverage
for your wedding or event.
Best regards,
James Edward Bates |
